By using Palo Alto Mentor's services, you agree to these terms.

Services

Palo Alto Mentor provides online private tutoring and academic mentorship services in math, science, computer science, and SAT prep. All tutoring is delivered online via Zoom or comparable video conferencing.

Bookings and payment

Tutoring sessions and packages must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payment is processed by Shopify's payment processor. Pricing is in US dollars unless otherwise noted.

Scheduling and cancellations

Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement between tutor and student/family. Cancellation policy is detailed in the Refund Policy.

Conduct

Palo Alto Mentor reserves the right to discontinue service in cases of abusive conduct, repeated no-shows, or any behavior that disrupts the working relationship.

Intellectual property

Practice tests, study guides, and other materials provided by Palo Alto Mentor are for the personal use of the enrolled student only. Redistribution, resale, or sharing outside the family is not permitted.

Limitation of liability

Tutoring is a supplementary educational service. We make no guarantees of specific academic outcomes, exam scores, or college admissions results. Tutoring effectiveness depends on student effort, engagement, and circumstances beyond our control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
